I was thinking that I wanted to do something special for my town, Otis, MA, as this year will mark it's 200th Birthday. So... I have been spending time at The Otis Free Public Library reading up on our history, talking with our local Otis History Expert, Hank Wingate, and asking questions of and listening to the stories of some of our long time Otis residents.
I collected some great facts and folklore and I've written a song to celebrate the Otis Bi-Centennial that I will be debuting this day with a little help from The Otis Red Hats and Friends at The Bi-Centennial BBQ. We are going for a multi-generational chorus. This is going to be a great celebration so I hope you will come on out and party with us. And of course, sing along too!
